Your Company:
Sandwell Futures Ltd is the company responsible for delivering Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council’s exciting, transformational, education vision for all of the secondary schools in the Borough under the government’s Building Schools for the Future (BSF) initiative.
Sandwell Futures Ltd is a Local Education Partnership (LEP) with three key partners:
The Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC).
Environments for Learning (E4L) - the private sector partner.
Building Schools for the Future Investments LLP (BSFi) - a joint venture between the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and Partnerships UK (PUK).
E4L is the private sector partner within Sandwell Futures Ltd, formed by:
Interserve.
Barclays Private Equity.
Cambridge Education (part of Mott MacDonald).
Agilisys.

Our aims:
The aim of Sandwell Futures Ltd is to procure and deliver Partnering Services to achieve the Council’s Education Vision. Over the next ten years it will:
Work with SMBC to develop strategic investment plans for secondary education in the Borough.
Procure the rebuilding or remodelling of all of the secondary schools within Sandwell with the object of transforming educational delivery.
Procure the implementation of personalised learning that supports curriculum needs, adopting innovative ICT solutions for all of the pupils within the secondary schools.
Deliver a comprehensive ICT managed service within the schools across the borough.
Provide work opportunities and at least 145 apprenticeships to local people.
Provide ICT mentoring and an opportunity for young people in the Borough to progress a career in IT.
Maintain the new and remodelled schools – facilities management & ICT – provide catering, cleaning, grounds maintenance and other ‘soft services’.
